Let’s Do Some Good..

Hey BUNZAI fam!

We're planning another price drop soon. But before that happens, we want to do some good together. Thanks to your continued support I felt it was time to give back again, but this time a bit different:

We're donating 0.50 CHF for every Burger sold in June to Beat Richner's Foundation of Children’s Hospital Kantha Bopha.

Why Cambodia?

My mother was actually born there but my family fled the war and ended up in Switzerland with nothing. I remember visiting Cambodia with with my mom as we started doing better financially. We visited the hospital, and she made donations there and at home. I can't recall the exact amounts, but I remember how proud she was to help the country she was born in.

Unfortunately, my mother passed away when I was 18 but in those 18 years she has worked incredibly hard to build a solid foundation for me to prosper. I would not have been able to open BUNZAI if it wasn‘t for her and my family instilling that hustler spirit in me.

Why Beat Richner‘s Children Hospital?

Since 1992, (late) Swiss doctor Dr. Beat Richner has opened five children's hospitals in Cambodia, located in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, providing a total of 2,300 beds. These hospitals care for 85% of the country's ill children, many of whom would not survive without this care. All treatments are free, as three-quarters of the local population cannot afford medical expenses. It is a quintessential Swiss foundation that resonates a lot with my family’s path.

So yeah, come by Bunzai this month as we‘ll donate 0.50 CHF per burger. It is my way of honoring my late mom but also giving back to a quintessential Swiss institution.
